Business Trip to Saudi Arabia and UAE

Despite the Challenging year with Covid-19, M.K International Inc. continued to have its productive journey with its valuable partners both in Korea and abroad. Dr. Jung, Chairman of M.K International Inc., visited Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA), and UAE in mid-December 2021.

The first destination was Jeddah for the site visit of the project of approx.1,500,000 m2 Smart city Development, then carried on financial & managerial meetings in Riyadh with ownership. The main purpose of the business trip to KSA was to make timely progress in the financing management and consulting business and security related in KSA. Dr. Jung intensively discussed and confirmed the current position and further movement schedule of such a giant and landmark project with the owner through international financing and management with MK’s partners entails financing, management, and technical services to be rendered.

Not only the large-scale landmark construction project, but Dr. Jung also discussed with each local partner on the Fintech related business aiming the 4th industrial revolutionary activities including to set-up cryptocurrency trade platform, energy-related and other trade business with senior management.

Followed by a trip to KSA, Dr. Jung flew to Dubai to meet various clients and business associates for the international financing and set-up Trade Platform of the Gulf region in the cities of Dubai and Abu-Dhabi. The setting up Africa center was also deeply discussed with prominent associates. Other deals were made for the energy supply business with trade partners for the specific petrochemical products of the regions.

Also, he had an in-depth discussion with D and A Groups regarding Digital Currency Platform, and defense and military plant with B and I Groups.

코로나로 인해 국제사업 추진에 많은 장애물이 있음에도 불구하고 M.K International Inc.는 국내.외의 소중한 파트너 들과 함께 생산적인 사업을 계속 진행하였습니다. 2021년 12월 중순 M.K의 정해정 회장은 사우디아라비아(KSA)와 UAE국 고객들의 초청으로 현지를 방문했습니다.

먼저 방문한국가는 사우디아라비아로 정해정 회장은 우선 Jeddah시를 방문하여 약 1,500,000m2 대규모 랜드마크 건설 프로젝트 현장을 방문하였습니다. 현장 검증 이후에는 Riyadh시에서 해당 프로젝트의 재정, 관리 및 실 행 등과 관련한 구체적 참여와 실행에 관한 구체적협의를 진행하였습니다.

이번 KSA 지역 출장의 핵심 추진사업은 KSA 지역에 건설될 예정인 랜드마크구축 사업과 관련한 자금 조달 및 컨설팅 그리고 에지니어링 업무를 적기에 진행하는 것이었습니다. 특히 현지고객읭 요청에의거 유관파트너와 함께 국제 자금 조달 및 추후 실행방안과 일정에 대해 집중적으로 논의하였으며, 추가적으로 수반되어야 할 기술 및 엔지니어링서비스에 대해서 상호간의 협력추진을을 확인하였습니다.

사우디 아라비아 진행사업은 대규모 랜드마크 건설 뿐만 아니라 암호화폐거래 플랫폼 구축, 4차 산업혁명 유관 산업 등도 포함되어, 관련 사업에 대해 현지의 고위관계자 및 각각의 사업 파트너와 만남을 가졌습니다. 사우디아라비아 방문에 이어 정해정 회장은 UAE국의 두바이와 아부다비로 이동하여 국제 금융 및 걸프지역의 무역 플랫폼 구축을 위해 여러 고객 및 비즈니스 파트너들과 협의 했습니다. 또한 아프리카사업센터(Africa Business Center: ABC) 설립에 대해서도 관계자들과 깊은 대화를 나누었고, 현지의 석유화학제품 관련 교역에대한 진행도 병행하였습니다. 또한 D그룹과 A그룹과 디지털 화폐 플랫폼과 Mobility 사업에 대해, B그룹 및 I그룹과 국방 및 군수사업 진행도 이루어졌습니다.

MK는 2021년 마지막 출장을 뒤돌아보며 2022년에 새로운 힘찬 도약의 한해를 기약했습니다. 새로운 한해, 모두 새해 복 많이 받으시길 바랍니다.
