A Swiss Financial Company’s Visit to Korea for International Financing

In September, MK set the fruitful stage for the international financial procurement project, which has been promoted under the slogan of selection and concentration. On-site and final inspection and due diligent were carried out by experts and decision-makers from Switzerland.

In preparation for this Swiss financial company's visit to Korea, MK made sufficient preparations with related project partners, officials of the different governmental departments, law firms, and prospective banks. In a 9-day visit to Korea, site visits to each project, briefings of partners, and meetings between government authorities, law firms, and banks were held according to schedule.

Among the areas visited were Yongsan-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Seo-gu of Incheon, and partner companies’ headquarters in Seoul, where construction, engineering, and facility development projects were carried out for three major projects selected for the purpose of the 1st initiatives.

During this financial company's visit to Korea, promising projects that may become future Icon companies were introduced, visited, and discussed. In particular, we visited companies in Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Dangjin Chungcheongnam-do, which had completed basic technical awareness and future feasibility reviews and in-depth discussion on future investment and business cooperation on the possibility and implementation of energy-related projects and advanced water purification and treatment equipment-related manufacturing's.

After the overall due diligence and verification, the Swiss financial company was satisfied with the thorough preparation of MK and related partners. On the last day of the itinerary, the Swiss finance company, MK management, and related affiliates and future partners came together to complete the schedule with a cruise dinner meeting.

It is expected that this matured transaction of bringing a good amount of overseas capital attraction will serve as a stepping stone for MK's further growth. We bringing palms together and look forward to the success of all MK partners and the continued guidance and consideration of everyone.

최근 9월중 MK는 선택과 집중의 슬로건 하에 추진해온 국제금융조달 사업의 결실단계로 스위스 금융사최고경영진이 2022년 9월 17일-26일 MK를 직접 방문하여 국내 선정된 프로젝트에 대한 해외자본 유치 과정의 마지막 단계인 현장실사 및 최종 점검과 확인을 하였습니다.

이번 스위스 금융사 방한에 대비하여 MK는 유관 프로젝트파트너회사, 각 정부 부처의 담당자, 법무법인과 거래예상은행 등과 함께 충분한 준비를 하였습니다. 8박 9일 간의 방한 일정에 맞추어 각 프로젝트 현장 방문 및 파트너사의 브리핑, 정부 유관 부처 및 법무법인과 은행 등 간의 미팅을 예정대로 차질없이 진행되었습니다.

방한 목적에 맞게 기 선정된 3개 주요 프로젝트에 대한 건설, 건축,시설 개발 프로젝트의 실행 지역인 서울 용산구, 양천구, 인천 서구 및 파트너사 본사를 방문하여 현장 실사와 분야별 책임자 간에 많은 질의 응답이 이루어졌습니다.

이번 금융사의 방한 중, 향후 부상할 수 있는 유망 프로젝트들의 소개 및 현장 방문.협의 또한 이루어졌습니다. 특히, 기본 기술적 인지도와 미래 사업성 검토검증을 마친 경상북도 대구, 충청남도 당진 지역의 업체를 직접 방문하여 에너지 관련 사업, 첨단 수처리기계설비 제작관련 사업의 가능성과 실행에 대해 향후 투자와 업무협조에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 하였습니다.

전반적인 실사와 검증을 마친 스위스 금융사는 MK와 유관 파트너들의 철저한 준비에 만족하였고 5회에 걸친 대형규모의 외자 유치에 동의한 후 유관기업과 참고인 등이 배석한 가운데 MK와의 최종 서명식을 가졌습니다. 일정의 마지막 날에는 스위스 금융사, MK경영진, 그리고 유관 관계사와 향후 협력사 등이 함께하여 크루즈 만찬 회의를 끝으로 최종 일정을 마무리 하였습니다.
