Official Visit: "Cooperation in the Lagos Rail Infrastructure & Rail Project" Lagos, N
On the first business trip of the year 2020, Dr. Hae-Jung Jung, Chairman of M.K International Inc., headed to the leadership country of Nigeria in West Africa during January 26-31, 2020.
On the arrival to Nigeria, the Chairman was welcomed by the CEO of First Global Commerce Solutions (FGCS), Mr. Adebola Adeyinka, and honored with reception made by the board of directors.
Dr. Jung and Mr. Adeyinka have been invited by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), leading by the CEO Madam Abimbola Akinajo, and Lagos State Government, leading by H.E Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and other key stakeholders, to participate in the development of the Lagos Rail Infrastructure and Rail Project.
South Korea, with one of the leading and most innovative Rail and Metro Infrastructures in the world, has immense capabilities in this area, as demonstrated on presentations made by Chairman Dr. Hae-Jung Jung, which were highly appreciated by Lagos State Government.
Dr. Jung had intensive high-level meetings with key stakeholders, such as Bank of Industry for finance, various commissioners of finance, budget and planning, transport, engineering, as well as, Justice sectors then conclusive meeting was held with Honorable Governor of Lagos State.
Meetings were also held with Global Railway Engineering (GRE) and Arab contractor, as a consortium of engineering companies. This was equally important, as a team of expert engineers from MK of South Korea will be involved in the project, as a position of Co-Chairman of consortium, already established in Nigeria under the name of First Metro Infrastructure Ltd.(FMIL).
Follow-up meetings and communications will be continued until the project gets underway and is eventually completed.
