Business Trip to West Africa, Germany, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Dr. Hae Jung Jung, Chairman of M.K International Inc., successfully completed a strategic international business trip from August 27 to September 15, 2025, covering West Africa, Germany, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This business trip was a critical step in furthering M.K International’s goals of global expansion and strengthening partnerships in energy, security, finance, and infrastructure sectors.


The primary focus of the visit to West Africa was the ongoing development of Tank Farm & Port Facility, a large-scale infrastructure project initiative by Private sector with strong supportive commitment of public in ECOWAS that aims to bolster the region’s petroleum storage and distribution capabilities. During his stay, Dr. Jung held high-level meetings with the local project management teams, where they discussed the current status, technical requirements, and next phases of the movement, including a detailed agenda for execution. A significant part of the visit included an on-site tour of the port facilities and field, allowing MK to directly assess the logistical conditions and operational readiness.


While in Germany, MK delegation held in-depth discussions with an established partner FAG, regarding a financing closing. The meeting focused on pragmatic delivery by joint cooperative efforts to the investment projects of MK.

In Poland, Dr. Jung engaged in meetings with companies specializing in production of security as well as metallurgical products and mining sector. The meetings with stakeholders in leading manufacturers and suppliers in the national level discussing the nature of production, capabilities, industry trends, and potential global-cooperation on both production and supply with technology aspect from Korea. To gain a deeper understanding of operational conditions, with good support of local prominent associate companies MK toured production facilities where they observed current manufacturing, quality control, and operation systems.


Dr. Jung’s final destination was the United Arab Emirates, where he met with long-standing partners to discuss financing and natural resources-related business. He also held meetings with leading development firm, exploring prospects for collaboration on a magnificent scale of construction projects in the region.
