Chairman of M.K International Inc. Dr. Jung Hae-Jung, who attended the '5th Environmental Industry Forum' said that "Africa is a promising field of water development, water and sewerage, waste management and alternative energy, and we need to approach it with accurate market information and a long-term idea of investing for at least 10 years."
The forum was set up to build a human and technical network among environmental technology innovation companies and invite practitioners to share insights information.
On this day, Dr. Jung who is an expert about doing a business in Africa for more than 30 years, has been invited as a special guest to share knowledge on opportunities, directions and to set up environmental technology company in Africa.
Participants who attended the forum showed a high interest during Q&A session, questioning such as; whether there was a delay in approval of local business, a competition with other enterprising companies, and about the possibilities of entering into a financial company.
An adviser to the Korea Environment Technology Innovation Corporation, commented that "it was a good place to get living information in Africa."
